Waiting on Christmas

While we wait on Christmas, may we think a bit about those who brought it to us.
My favorite Christmas carol is "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear". What's yours?

"Winter Wonderland" and "Chestnuts Roasting . . "
I sang them both at a party last night.

"Joy to the World" is my favorite. So uplifting and tells the real meaning of Christmas, not this silly Santa stuff. (Don't worry, I do love Santa too.)

Your pregnant Madonna is magnificent.

they just don't write melodies like the old christmas songs anymore. i love silent night for singing, and - dang, i can't pick. the while Bing Crosby's White Christmas record is essential. (found your blog from Etsy - love your stuff!)

I absolutely adore your sculpture Ang, she is fabulous.

Hmmm - sorry I can't pick just one favorite!
I love Stevie Nicks rendition of Silent Night, Boney M's Mary's Boy Child, Annie Lennox singing winter Wonderland, Gabriel's Message & Do you Hear What I hear......

Think I'll quit now - lol!

Ah, Bing Crosby singing anything is good, so his White Christmas is a very nice choice! You all picked some very wonderful songs to listen to and to sing. Oh, and Do You Hear What I Hear...beautiful. Hope everyone is singing their favorites lots...it sort of seems a shame to put them away after Christmas, doesn't it?
